Jacky Faber and her true love, Jamie, must really be star crossed lovers since minutes before they are to wed, they are kidnapped by the British Naval Intelligence and forced to carry out a risky mission. In this mission, they must find the sunken Spanish galleon, the Santa Magdalena, and recover her treasure. However, it is no easy task as the ship is well below diving range, and British Intelligence is not the only party interested in bringing up the gold. Jacky swims like a fish and is sharp as a tack, but will it be enough to accomplish this mission and make her way back to Jamie? (Grades 7 & up)
