Finnikin has spent the last ten years of his life roaming all over the land of Skuldenore after his home country of Lumatere’s royal family was murdered and the land placed under a curse, barring all who escaped from entering it again. Reluctantly Finnikin takes up the task of aiding a young woman named Evanjalin, who claims she can walk in the dreams of the people still trapped inside Lumatere and that a true heir to the throne lives.
