When the snow starts falling, Scotty and his friends Pete and Jason hope for an early dismissal so they can work on Jason’s go-kart in the shop classroom. No one predicted that the snow would keep falling for days and they, along with four other students, would be trapped in the high school. With no heat, cell phone reception, and dwindling electricity, the seven students must figure out how to survive. And with no way to contact the outside world, chances are they won’t be rescued unless one of them is able to leave and find help. (Grades 6 & up)
