This group use an eclectic mix of influences in their energetic music. The most obvious influence is East Asia, since most of their instruments are traditional Chinese instruments. However, they have “Reel Around the Sun,” which is an adaptation of a traditional Irish reel. Also, they have adaptations of Enya’s “Only Time”, “New Classicism,” which is a medley of Symphony No. 40, “First Movement, Molto Allegro” by Bach, “Symphony Number 5 in C minor” by Beethoven, and finally the overture of the opera Barbiere di Sivigilia. For, those who enjoy popular music, there is “Clocks,” which is another version of the Coldplay song, and “Earthly Stars (Unsung Heroes),” which is a version of the famous Japanese pop song. This varied mix means you never get bored while listening to this C.D. I rate it 5 out of 5 stars!!
